May – Note from Christy

One night while we were having dinner, Maxim said, “Oh Mama…”

I immediately started to sing, “Oh mama, I’m in fear for my life from the long arm of the law. Lawman has put an end to my running and I’m so far from my home. Oh mama, I can hear your crying, you’re so scared and all alone. Hangman is coming down from the gallows and I don’t have very long. Yeah…”

I looked up and my family thought I had lost my mind.

Frederic was in the kitchen cutting an apple and stopped to watch his wife, looking a bit concerned.

I said,

“It’s Styx!”

“Renegade.”

“Nothing?”

So I got up from the table. I went into the living room and took out my very old Styx CD and found Renegade. I put it on, and this started what is now a performance in my house.

The boys like to act all sad at the beginning of the song until the band yells, and then the boys start to dance.

Enjoy
