Each year as the New Year begins I decide on what I want my theme to be for the year. Several years ago I claimed my New Year, “The year of utopia,” and it worked out so well I decided each year would be my year of utopia.
After creating so many wonderful things in my life, I truly got what Abraham-Hicks has been saying for years:
All my life I was so focused on external things such as creating a career, a family, attracting money, taking vacations and so on and would focus on a feeling to get something outside of myself. Not just for the feeling.
And it worked, because I continue to utilize the universal laws to create what I desire. But what would happen is after the “thing” manifested, I was then left feeling something was now missing. There was a brief celebration that I manifested what I wanted, but until I started to get excited about the next thing I wanted and started to feel what it felt like to have it, I would feel an emptiness.
So I decided 2016 is going to be my year of JOY, for NO REASON, not because I want to create something. Not because I want to manifest something. Not because of any reason other than to feel joy, I am so JOYFUL!
And things are manifesting in my life like CRAZY, because there is a more consistent high vibration because I am feeling so good.
Do this for one day. Make joy your goal. See what happens. And more importantly, witness how much fun life is.
My mentor, Karen Lamark Wilson, who is the creator of the amazing program Energy Mastery for Advancing Consciousness (EMAC), defines JOY as Just Own Yourself.
And when we can pay attention to our joy, not letting anything or anyone determine how we feel, we are owning ourselves. And life is oh, so juicy.
Enjoy!
